Too bad that everyone is focussing on the GSP Cards and the rest is left behind.
A 980 is still a nice thing.
Guess the linux binary driver won't die ever.

I don't care about this blockchain integration stuff for some new coin on the market that i don't know and therefore don't trust.
BUT this hardware looks weird and i hope they will go back to the drawing board and choose something better.

If you still have games that are only available on physical media or isos, you should ask gog or the publisher for a digital edition.

I also agree that we need to preserve the Multiplayer servers.
What if an MMORPG like Everquest,World of Warcraft or Guildwars is no longer profitable and servers go down?
What if a franchise is no longer interesting for the owner like Robin Hood the Legend of Sherwood?
What if the hardware is no longer sold like a Super Nintendo or Megadrive?
It wouldnt hurt the owner of the material to release sourcecode, schematics, assets ,server side binaries, level editors, tools , source of the tools and so on to make it possible to archive it for the future.

Books, Films , art, is preserved in museums and special archives too.

Even Companies like GoG or Blizzard themselfes have to reverse engineer games because only binaries are left and the rest long lost.

So we have seen the mission statement, the marketing slides.
Now we wait and see if they do more than just a mix of Lutris, Heroic and Linux with a bit of duct tape.
I'd love to see more platforms in OpenSource being supported , MS Gamepass,Rockstar, countless others where the OpenSource community hasn't solved the puzzle yet.
Just getting money out of community projects is lame.

Quoting: kftXMay I ask why IndieGala and not Humble? I honestly didn't even realise IndieGala still existed haha
It is a community project and every developer works on what he prefers. Maybe it is easier, maybe there is no community member that has games there?
I personally only got steam keys from humble in the past, so it might just not be worth the time :)

Quoting: fenglengshunNice. Heroic remains the GOAT for me. Hope yo see more store supports again at some point.

Yeah! IndieGala, EA and Itch.io are being cooked right now, soon we will have more news about them.

The list of remaining targets is shrinking^^ Can only think about MS Gamepass, Battle.net and Ubi being major platforms to do.
Huge thanks to the team for tackling all the hard , probably unpaid , work.
