Hey!

I *would* use SimpleScreenRecorder as it works perfectly. However, I cant record my microphone and speakers at the same time using it. (I use a USB headset) Thanks!

I recommend you simply record your own voice using another sound recorder like Audacity and then sync the game audio and your voice afterwards in a video editor.

Here's a video showing how I record gaming videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSg8IMkrLPo

Alternatively you could use OBS as your recording software, but it's a bit alpha at the moment, so you can expect some crashes etc.

I'm thinking of waiting with OBS until it gets a stable Debian repository :)

Thanks! I'll report back later. I was thinking of this too actually, but Audacity didn't seem to recognize my shortcut key when not focusing on the window.

I had some trouble using it, it just stopped all other input and as far as I saw only had the option to choose one audio unit. Can you give some instructions please?

I'm looking for a Linux alternative for FRAPS simply for seeing a games FPS. Any suggestions ? Not trying to hijack the thread.

Seems interesting but how do I download it ? I see no links on the site.
