Dreamfall Chapters is a highly anticipated sequel to The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. The game will finally released on October the 21st.
The new game was funded on Kickstarter, so yes it's yet another crowdfunded game to actually get a proper release. It raised $1.5M on Kickstarter so it has enough funding to create a great game, but time will tell!
It will be the first in the series to appear on Linux too, so it will be interesting to see how Linux gamers receive it.

Quoting: fleskI really wish I could have gotten through it because I quite liked the story and atmosphere. The awkward combat and stealth elements ruined it for me though and I ended up rage quitting after being attacked by some kind of troll.
That was a very unpopular scene. Fans got the devs to promise not to do anything like that again during the DreamFall Chapters campaign ;)
