Finally some good news from an Electronic Arts published title, as developer Hazelight just upgraded It Takes Two to get it Steam Deck Verified.
Well, here's another game that EA will be breaking on Steam Deck / Linux, with EA anticheat rolling out to EA SPORTS WRC when it goes live in June.

Well, here we go again. Apex Legends just launched the Ignite Update, and with it sadly it seems they messed up Easy Anti-Cheat for Steam Deck / Linux.

As a little PSA word of warning, it seems EA / Respawn have begun another little ban wave or they've tweaked something in their anti-cheat that Linux / Steam Deck players are getting caught in for Apex Legends.
It appears that Apex Legends from Respawn and EA has started banning some players on Linux, and while the Steam Deck uses Linux too it seems nearly all the bans were desktop Linux players.
Even though Apex Legends was marked officially Steam Deck Verified by Valve on March 9, that we covered in an article, it's now been updated and it's broken on Steam Deck and Linux desktops.
