Streets of Rogue, the rather excellent open-world roguelike has been updated again. Two major new features for the online mode are NAT punch-through and automatic port forwarding to make connections easier.

Interstellar Marines was once an incredibly promising FPS game with nice visuals and interesting gameplay. Sadly, their money pretty much vanished, but it's pleasing to see it still being developed.

BallisticNG is an in-development racer heavily inspired by Wipeout on Steam. It seems it has picked up a community member to bring it over to Linux and has unstable builds available.

The Exiled, a new discovery recently that aims to combine the open-world approach of an MMO together with MOBA style battles. The icing here is that it supports Linux.

Edge Of Eternity is a really fantastic looking indie tribute to the J-RPG classics and the developers have confirmed Linux will not see a release until Vulkan is stable in Unity.

Unity 5.5 has been released as a pretty major update to this popular game engine. One interesting bit for us is that games built with 5.5 onward will only have access to the modern OpenGL system.

Syndrome, a good-looking sci-fi survival horror was supposed to come to Linux at release, but it seems Unity is holding it back with bugs.

The Linux editor of Unity has been in beta for quite a while, over a year in fact, so it's really pleasing to see it getting bumped up to an official status. Updated!

Honestly, I had never heard of Silence until someone asked me in our IRC to look it up. I am glad they did, as Daedalic were more than happy to provide review access and this game is fantastic.
