The tactical RPG with great art and music was less-than-stellar in many other areas when it launched last month. It has received its biggest post-launch update so far and it tries to redress a lot of areas of criticism.
This 2D action game has gotten some love from its developers a few years after its launch. Rebranded as the “Reloaded Edition”, there’s new content to enjoy as well as several quality of life improvements that fix some of the game’s biggest shortcomings.
Supergiant's games have thus far had a few tropes so to speak. The narrator, optional difficulty and a New Game+ mode to spice up future playthroughs. Pyre did away with some of those aspects but the New Game+ is back on the list.
According to an official announcement, to celebrate the release of the game soundtrack the developers are adding a whole new level along with Trading Cards on Steam and several bug fixes and performance improvements.
