The Witcher 2 was released on GOG for Linux recently for DRM free fans, but sadly it was an older version that the GOG team put up. With all the performance improvements in the new versions it was needing an update. GOG have contacted us to let us know a patch is now available.
The Witcher 2 for Linux is now fully DRM-free and available to buy from GOG, but be warned the GOG team accidentally put up an older version.
There is actually a dating simulation/visual novel based around pigeons. I wish I was surprised, but with Goat Simulator coming to Linux it seems we are primed to get all the weird games now too.
GOG are DRM-free champions that's for sure, and since they support Linux now we can join in on the fun. They have now announced DRM-free movies, but they will also be removing some games.
In a press release last week the developer of indie hit To the Moon, Freebird Games, revealed that their next game, A Bird Story, will be available for Linux on Steam and GOG, among other distribution platforms.
GOG has been building up their library quicker and quicker, and thankfully some recent games added are on Linux now too. Come take a look!

Gods Will Be Watching is a game that is quite hard to describe, and it's bloody hard as well. It's a pixel art point and click adventure game where you need to be quite brutal.
Today marks a big day for Linux and DRM free gaming. GOG.com are now officially supporting Linux on their store, and so that's pretty much all major online stores supporting Linux.
Galaxy will launch this year, so a number of folks in GOG's community have suggested that it should be open source. A list of reasons speak for this, but what do you think?
GOG.com have announced "Galaxy" a completely optional game client that works a lot like Steam, not only is it entirely optional, but it allows you to be fully offline anytime. They also stated elsewhere it's being built with Linux in mind.
With GOG.com heading over to Linux later this year they are in need of someone technically minded with Linux who doesn't mind moving to Poland.
This is fantastic news, GOG.com are finally going to open up their store to penguin lovers of the Linux family!
Well folks a lot of you saw this one coming, GOG.com have officially responded to us to state that Linux support just isn't happening anytime soon. UPDATED
