NVIDIA have today put out their latest beta driver for Linux with quite a bit new and it sounds quite exciting.
Recently, I highlighted an issue in multiple Unity games where the graphics were distorted on Linux with using an NVIDIA GPU and I offered some workarounds. I now have an update on the issue to share from both Unity and NVIDIA.
As a bit of a win for everyone, NVIDIA have announced that they will be supporting VESA Adaptive Sync.
It seems to be a busy weekend! NVIDIA have put out a new version of their Vulkan beta driver and it's an interesting one.
Arriving today, NVIDIA have their first bug-fix release of the year with the 410.93 driver as part of their longer supported series.

Yesterday, NVIDIA again updated their special beta Vulkan driver pushing it to version 415.22.01 with various improvements.
It seems a lot of Unity games upgrading to later versions of Unity are suffering from graphical distortions on Linux with an NVIDIA GPU. There is a workaround available.
Finally, after waiting for a few months NVIDIA has released a new mainline driver which includes Transform Feedback support.
After NVIDIA updated their beta Vulkan drivers recently, it came with a pretty big issue they've now corrected.
Popping up a little while ago on Twitter, NVIDIA has announced that they've now put PhysX under an open source license.
For those interested, NVIDIA have now updated their special Vulkan beta drivers with 415.18.02 so they're a little less behind.
One I completely forgot to post about here, NVIDIA recently released the 415.13 beta driver for Linux.
Along with the release of the GeForce RTX 2080 GPU series NVIDIA have put out a new 410.57 driver to support it. Additionally, there's a new Vulkan beta driver which should help DXVK.
It seems NVIDIA have been working on some improvements to their Linux driver, as the 396.54.05 beta driver seems to have improved performance in various games.
