Looks like Nvidia don't want to be outclassed by AMD and have released GameWorks SDK 3.1 with the intetion of releasing parts of it onto github. They have already released FaceWorks and some OpenGL samples, with more to come.
Nvidia are keeping up their great support of Vulkan with yet another new build of their Vulkan driver which supports Linux.
Heads up Vulkan testers, Nvidia has updated their beta Vulkan driver for Linux. It should work better with newer kernels too.
SteamOS Brewmaster update 2.63 has been pushed to brewmaster_beta, if you are opted into the beta on SteamOS you will get an updated Nvidia driver featuring Vulkan support.
Well, this is awkward, Nvidia have also released a driver on Linux with Vulkan support. This leaves AMD to be the only desktop GPU vendor not to have one ready for testing on Linux.
Nvidia have been busy, they have released vkcpp which as a C++ API to work with Vulkan, as Vulkan itself is a C API.

Nvidia hosted a 'Vulkan Developers Day' at their Silicon Valley campus with plenty of 'top graphics developers' attending.
Nvidia are talking about Vulkan a little more now, which is really good to see. Looks like they will have a little bit of support for it on "day-zero" too.
