The folks over at Chucklfish have announced on the Starbound website that they have reached $1,000,000 in pre-orders of their story driven sandbox game in outerspace for Mac, Linux and Windows.

Starbound begins with you fleeing your homeworld in a space shuttle, just as it’s destroyed by an unknown enemy. With nothing to guide it, the escape pod shoots into space without direction, becoming hopelessly lost in a sea of stars.

The Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter campaign has been successful and now Mac & Linux clients are also confirmed! Picture a modern version of a world not unlike that of Ultima VII, that can be explored either alone or with a friend, that sees you engage adversaries in tactical turn-based combat reminiscent of the great turn-based RPGs of the past.

Something I personally still think Linux lacks is a range of RPG-like games, while there are a few (Dungeons of Dredmor, Sacred Gold, Monster RPG 2) but not many that are really "amazing" in my eyes so, enter Dark Gates an RPG from DFour Games a 6 player party RPG game which reminds me a little bit of Final Fantasy, only a little though.
