Blossom Tales is a rather good looking Zelda-like action RPG that has been Greenlit to be on Steam and it's heading to Linux.
I have been waiting and attempting to be patient on this, Stardew Valley has now popped up on SteamDB with a Linux/Mac testing branch.
Rogue Islands is a pretty good looking fast-paced shooter with blocky graphics will come to Linux and it looks good.
We should see this coming by now. The Cossacks 3 release date has been announced and I have it confirmed personally that the Linux release is now delayed.
Darkest Dungeon is a brutal game and I did enjoy what I tested of it. The Linux version should now feel a lot better too.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers is the next Tower Defence game from Ironhide Game Studio, but sadly we have to wait for it.
Lost Sea is a quirky looking action and adventure game with some nice visuals that recently released on Linux, I took a look.
Ballistic Overkill is the fast paced FPS game I have fallen in love with and it just gained a tasty update.
A new video has popped up from one of the developer livestreams for Tyranny, which is the big new RPG from Paradox and Obsidian. It looks great!

A new cross platform strategy game that is seeking funds on Kickstarter and votes on Steam Greenlight.
Thanks to the masses of people for letting me know. Undertale, the 2D RPG where you don't have to destroy anyone is now available for SteamOS and Linux.
Trial by Viking is a new platformer available for Linux that has over 100 levels, I checked it out and these are my thoughts.

I've enjoyed a great many hours in RimWorld. It has charming visuals much like Prison Architect, but you're building a colony with a choice of different AI behind the scenes.
Near Death sounds a bit like The Long Dark, but you're in Antarctica and it sounds like it has a really cool thermal simulation inside it.

VR Funhouse is currently a Windows only advanced VR game, but the interesting thing is that Nvidia claim they will open source it.
