Quoting: DamonLinuxPL@LIAM, could you ask your contact in Techland about fixing performance and graphics issues in Linux with AMD drivers?

I figured out my crashing issue, I did about 5 minutes in it early and basically hit my VRAM limit, no wonder it used to crash so often for me even on my 970. Note: close all programs, or reduce some settings = stable.
Speculation: It looks like the Saints Row series will all launch together on SteamOS & Linux

@edo also seems logical, does make me still wonder why all are updated together at times. Maybe the publish is signing off on all test builds at the same time.
I guess we will find out in time, exciting.

Third release candidate of Wine version 1.8 is out
6 December 2015 at 1:14 pm UTC
Is that actually the official one? If so, they should really update their site.

Quoting: tuubiWhat's wrong with this one? It has "official wine builds" of 1.8 rc3 for all Ubuntu releases starting with Trusty and even one for 12.04 (Precise). I rarely use wine for anything but these packages seem to install and work just fine, at least on Mint 17.

Friday Livestream Is Here at 6 PM UTC!

If someone buys one of us a copy, we certainly won't be putting down any cash for it.

I've emailed the PPA admins to see why it's so out of date.

Quoting: KeizgonUbuntu 15.10 has yet to receive any working beta branch version for WINE, despite it being out for a couple months. Hopefully this can be remedied soon. I may not use it very much these days, but it's nice to test with it and have the option.

I have a life outside of the website (family, food, sleep and everything else), I have to wait for keys to come in sometimes (only got sent Valhalla today), I have to actually play and test the games before writing more than a few words.
Take your pick.

Quoting: burnallI just hope the articles won't turn into speculation news. What about current games, like Valhalla Hills, a good strategy game which was released yesterday similar to Settlers 3 and 4, and no word on it?

If you mean a "hardcopy" that you purchased in a shop, that will not count for Linux at all. Feral confirmed this before.

Won't count as linux sale though?
Like I said in the article, don't buy before a port is out. Always follow that simple rule.
so daft question: if I buy the game but do not activate (ie hardcopy) until its out does that count as a linux version ?
