Quoting: cameronboschTuxedo OS. It's basically that Mint KDE but actually supported by Tuxedo computers (that may seem a bit shady given the driver upstreaming issue, but the distro itself works great). Thanks for the TuxedoOS shout, I'd kind of dismissed it without knowing anything about it. It's now on my shortlist of three to play with when my new drive arrives. Though I half suspect it'll end up with a nice fresh EndeavourOS on it in the end...

I've been using EndeavourOS with Plasma for ages, and I'm generally really enjoying it. But I think I might be finding the regular large updates (a plus in many ways, I know) a bit tiresome. So I've got a new drive on the way to try something else on (without nuking a long-lived OS installation), thinking maybe Solus, which I did play with a while back, and they seem to be back on track. Something semi-rolling. Will probably mean getting into Flatpak more, as I wouldn't have the AUR (sob).
I used Kubuntu years ago, before moving on to Mint KDE. Of all of the Debian and Ubuntu-based distros, a Plasma Mint one is probably the only one I would bother with, shame it doesn't officially exist.
Will have a play with Nobara too, just out of curiosity. Anyone running that, or Solus, as their main distro?

Big fan of Valheim, back to the very early versions on Itch, but I can't get the hang of this one. The fact that others haven't found it fiddly/confusing suggests the problem is with me!
[p.s. I am getting the hang of it a bit more now. I think it's the movement/camera that I need to get used to. It certainly looks nice and performs well.]

I've spent a fair amount of time playing Void Scrappers, much preferred it to Brotato and Vampire Survivors.

Going by forum posts elsewhere, seems like it's now broken on Windows too, for some people. No doubt there'll be a dodgy solution out there at some point, that people who want to play the game legally will be forced to use.

I still have a soft spot for Mint, though I moved elsewhere when they stopped doing a Plasma version. I understand why they did that, but it was a real shame, and I hopped around all over the place for a while.
They make sensible decisions that I completely support, might have to give the upcoming version a try on my laptop, with Plasma bolted on of course.

Been looking forward to this, even though, as suspected, it's out of my price range for now.
I already use a Max Blackbird TKL, which is decent enough. I got the Max Falcon 20 numpad as a gift, and that's great. Highly programmable, though I need to do that in a Windows VM. Everything is stored on the numpad itself. And I can push it out of the way when I need a bit more mouse space.

I've been playing Skyrim SE in Proton for a few weeks now. No special config, it just worked, other than needing an audio fix. Runs very nicely (occasional freezes, loss of some audio), better than the none-SE version ever did with WINE, and that's with an Intel GPU (NUC). Using Manjaro, for info.
Quoting: Scoopta...I'm still waiting for Skyrim special edition to be playable in proton because once that happens it'll be freaking amazing on this setup.
