Valve making steps to address toxic behaviour on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
7 February 2020 at 5:37 pm UTC

Geppeto35There are two types of different unpleasantness: naughty behaviour (ex: two time in the last month I played a guy that killed me while team mate in last survivor; the guy that cry in his mic; guy with music in the mic, etc.) and cheaters.

At least if cheaters were put aside it would help this great game. Yesterday, I stopped to play after 4 different rounds I was in front of cheating people with no fun. Replay VERY helps and it should be used by full time moderators after reports.
The inventiveness of cheats is also incredible: the classical guy that only killed by head shoot in one bullet whatever the gun he had, the guy that can take 3 awp shots in a raw with only 80hp decreased (meaning that he can probably tweak his cheat? or with adding more armor? don't know how) -seen yesterday, the guy that can view all hidden people ...I don't know how also
This game is a hack hole for hackers XD

Yeah man. This is why I stick to games where I play only with people I know. Every so often I try playing modern games with the public and I regret it.

This is one of the few non-DRMFREE games that I chose to support. It has a strong local scene in NYC which is great for me. Work excellently with Steam Remote Play to play with my people.

If this had LAN support, I would be all in.

I liked this game awhile back. Is it possible to get the full version outside of Steam? Has LAN support been added?

As a fighting and brawler game fan this is all that I ever wanted and has brought me back to Steam.

I'm down for some of that! Pass that key, please!

What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

  • We. The Revolution via GOG

Just ended this one. It's the last of the single player games I bought recently to see if SP games are for me. I liked it a lot and it had me hankering for some more reading material around the french revolution.

I can not put into words whether the game was fun for me or not. I tend to associate video gaming fun with excitement and the rush of adrenaline. This game by it's nature had me pausing and reflecting more on the characters and their plights.

Overall I enjoyed it but it was very different experience than what I am use to.

  • Splody via

This is an excellent Bomberman Clone. My wife and I love this game and play a few rounds before bed. Co-op or VS is a lot of fun.

  • Mother Russia Bleeds via GOG

This game is just becoming a staple of the family gaming experience. Currently, we are unlocking all of the drugs via of Arena.

  • Fatal Fury Special via Humble Bundle/MAME/Mednafen

There are a few locals coming up for retro-fighters and this is THE FIGHTING GAME, I loved growing up as a kid. It's still lots of fun and the linux release via Humble Bundle and GOG are compatible with MAME. Two of the locals are on original Sega Genesis hardware so I am learning that version also since I never messed with consoles growing up very much.

My brother and I play via Parsec all of the computers we own growing up like the Street Fighter releases and VF games. He recently went all in on Linux but kept his Windows machine for Parsec only. This would be the kind of thing to bring back to Steam if I can implement for my non-steam games.

DRM-free store GOG are doing a back to school sale with lots of discounts
2 September 2019 at 4:02 am UTC

I'm not interested in clients. I just want the DRM-FREE binaries that GOG and others places offer. The only clients I am interested in are those like Lutris, Emulation Station and Gamehub so that I can configure them as I see fit.

Picked up 2 games - one for me and another for my wife. May GOG stay strong forever.
