Modernize Live Media, the one feature I was interested in, got pushed to 45 or later due to it not being near ready.

Not sure why I am seeing multiple sites (Phoronix too) publishing this old/wrong info.

Do they just post the press release without verifying? Yeah they do.

PLM is showing black screen with cursor for me.

Quoting: Ehvispiper/libratbag lets you configure everything. Even better, that configuration is stored on the mouse, so it retains everything even after a reinstall.
I have three G305 and I didn't know about piper. Thanks!

NVIDIA stable driver 570.124.04 released for Linux with VRR for multiple displays and various bug fixes
27 Feb 2025 at 8:42 pm UTC

I guess I won't update to the 3:570.86.16-3.fc40 version which only became available on rpmfusion today.
I wasn't going to anyway - kernel series update (6.13) and nvidia binary update almost always means trouble.

I'll wait (some more).

Quoting: Jarmer110 gb patch. That's just absurd, are you basically just redownloading the entire game?
My thoughts, exactly.
Even there, I think the idea of a 110 gb game is ridiculous. Maybe I just don't play AAA games.
Seems like one must make 100GB+ games to be taken seriously in some circles these days.

You should properly report this to the GitHub [External Link] with an explanation and log files.
I think this was my bad. Had Chrome running with lots of tabs open and it seems that caused the issue.
At least when I don't have Chrome running I don't have the issue. I suspect the YouTube tabs - they seem
to do a lot of updating in the background.
