IndieCIty - New game store coming soon!

By - | Views: 15,331
Thanks to Ryan Swart on google+ i got notified about IndieCity.

It is an online games store which will also have a downloadable client for Linux in the near future, they are focusing solely on Indie games as well which puts them against Desura, so Desura you have competition coming!

Gamasutra has a big article on it with comments from them too:

Not other people's posts, just my own. To clean up accidental double posts and the like.

I would rather leave it up to admins and mods to sort out honestly, so people don't end up deleting wrong posts of theirs.

They released a test client, sadly they seem to be going the Steam route:
32bit
its a .deb  file so .rpm people can convert is using alien
it needs root to be installed and has hardcoded paths, so running just the client won't work as it really want to write in /var/lib/indiecity

desura did it so nicely :/

I can't seem to find a download? Their download page is for windows, their blog mentions some delays?
