Hmmm... Thunder Fleets looks rather naval novel. Still, any word on when Desura for Linux is finally going to be out of Beta?

Blue Libra is pretty fun, like Galcon but with deeper gameplay.

Ah, thanks for the link Bumbadar.

Slightly Off Topic: When you redeem a Humble Bundle purchase on Desura, what happens exactly? Does it add the game to your account and does Desura try to download its own copy, or what?
Liam Dawe Nov 4, 2011
It adds the game to your account for you to download and install via Desura at anytime.
Hamish Nov 4, 2011
Ah, okay, nifty. So I could add the games to an account and not download them with the client.
Liam Dawe Nov 4, 2011
Why would you add them to not download? Confused.
Hamish Nov 5, 2011
Because I would never download anything over 30 MB over my bandwidth restricted internet connection?

I downloaded most of my Humble Indie Bundle titles at my uncles as he was somehow lucky enough to get unlimited. I would mostly try to redeem them on Desura just to play with the thing when it is released. As it stands, actually using its services properly is in many ways inaccessible to me. But I still want to play with it. :P

just remember the bundle running now has no desura key, just steam so far. Steam key only got added after the 2 other games got, so maybe desura will get added at the end in case more games get added......... dunno, just thinking :)
