the visuals in that promo trailer are very impressive, i wonder how detailed the maps of the cities are but i would guess the real depth comes from running the company and expanding it

The bitching about the company "wasting time on Linux" in the comments was a little distressing though. :(

Just read a few of the comments, you can garuntee the people making them are either 1) under 18 or 2) haven't been away from their windows pc screen for more than 5 minutes in a day heh....the typical comments of a Windows moron.

You would think that with all that immature reaction and comments from the windows users, that no one would want to continue to support people like that. They completely just sound like a bunch of morons, who mostly just rip on Linux because they dont know what the hell it is. I for one thing would not support people like that.
This game is going to be amazing to have on Linux. The second it is released, i will own it.

Can't wait!
Great game to have on Linux and I reckon I'll sink quite a few hours into it.
And yeah, those moaners in the comments section are both hilarious and sad at the same time. Because their running their Windows machine probably bought by mummy and never pay attention to anything else they only care about their patches...

Can't wait for this one, I haven't played any games like this for years and this one is looking amazing. Hopefully it will be released soon enough.

We need more games like this to draw in the odd niche crowd.

I saw this game mentioned on a french "game review" show recently. The show makes it look boring and I have to admit it doesn't appeal to me as well, unless there are some gameplay elements I'm missing...
Anyway, for those who understand French, it's a funny video on various simulation games: [http://www.joueurdugrenier.fr/joueur-du-grenier-les-simulations-pc/](http://www.joueurdugrenier.fr/joueur-du-grenier-les-simulations-pc/) :)
edit: This is probably how I would have fun with it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=omgc8M2NESs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=omgc8M2NESs) ^^

Weeeell... OTOH if you're going to watch JdG, you better have a truckload (instant bad pun) of salt with you... And there's always the demo. :)

inded the driving around is quite boring, but thats not all that the game offers.
u can manage ur company, hiring new drivers etc.
+ the game is highly modable, there are tons of mods out there to enrich your game experience.
