140 A Challenging Minimalistic Platformer Now In Beta For Linux

By - | Views: 4,118
140 is a challenging minimalistic platformer with abstract colorful graphics. Rhythmic awareness is required to overcome obstacles controlled by an energetic, yet melancholic electronic soundtrack.

The developers announced this on their steam forum@
QuoteIf you already own the game, you can right click on game -> properties -> betas -> choose 'beta - public beta testing' on the drop down list.

Let me know if it works, feel free to post in this thread.

We have tested on Ubuntu, and the only problem we found is that VSync is disabled if you launch the game from a compositing window manager based desktop environment. If a lightweight desktop environment such as LXDE is installed and used instead, the VSync is perfect.

This is a bug in the Unity engine we have created the game in, and is present in all other Unity based games on Steam as well (from what I can tell).

Don't let the simplicity fool you, some people have spent a silly amount of hours playing it!
