Fistful of Frags promised that when they got greenlit to be on Steam that they would port to the newer Source SDK for Linux, they have delivered and it's an awesome western inspired FPS game. Funny thing is when we first pointed it out I accidently put an article out calling it "Fistful of Fags", now that would be a very different game...

I've tested it out a bit today and performance was great, the problem is there are very few servers and all seem to be full, luckily you can do a local game with bots, but we need to sort that server issue folks! I am sure once it picks up a bit of steam (see what I did there?) that more servers will pop-up and if not we will have to roll our own! I will be looking into how hard that will be today as I found the game pretty fun myself. If people have suggestions on where to do a server for it cheaply (and easily!) let us know in the comments right away.

Update: We have a server 107.170.45.232

About the Game
Fistful of Frags born years ago as a FPS Wild West themed modification for Source engine. It has been completely renewed for its Steam release, paying special attention to combat mechanics. Please note that current build lacks certain features and maps from past versions, as we are hoping to continue the work once the community grows.

Features
  • Classic death-match and up to 4 teams death-match: non stop, all around action
  • Detailed dual wield system: double dynamic crosshair, weapon flip for extra accuracy options, drop or throw your handguns as projectile attack
  • Advanced multiplayer bots for off-line practice
  • Historical black gunpowder based weapons as Colt Peacemaker/Navy/Walker, S&W Schofield, Volcanic pistol, Deringer, Smith Carbine, Sharps rifle or Henry Rifle
  • Customization options: choose primary/secondary weapons and special perks
  • Skill based scoring system: the more skill required to accomplish an attack, the higher score is
  • Source Engine 2013: community managed dedicated servers, LAN support, 3rd party level design and user customization allowed

Quoting: JayBeeeAwesome game. I just think it's funny, cause in the most recent changelog it said that the problem with bots doesn't leave when player joins was fixed. Still I can't join servers with 10 "free" slots and 10 bots in it. It says it's full. :P

My guess is you get this only when trying to join 'listen servers'?

Quoting: AnonymousAnyone remember Wanted HL?

Yes I remember it was a lot of fun!

Was it this one? In my memory it looked better, but that's maybe because we are used to different standards now.
