Great news folks Eador. Masters of the Broken World have finally delivered on their promise of a Linux version along with a big new DLC. What a day!

Update: Apparently it's downloading windows files with wine and won't run for a lot of people, we have reached out to the developers for confirmation.

I have been waiting on this for quite some time as it looks like a really decent turn-based fantasy strategy title. Looks like they weren't kidding when they said it was being worked on last month!

About the Game
Eador is a universe made of countless shards of land drifting in the Great Nothing. Each of the shards is a little world unto itself, with geography and denizens of its own. The power over the shards is bitterly contested by Masters, the immortal beings mortals believe to be gods. Take the role of the mighty Master and shape the destiny of Eador! It is in your power to deliver the world from ultimate destruction – or to choke it with an iron fist of tyranny.

Eador: Masters of the Broken World is a turn-based fantasy strategy game, where the decisions you make affect the world even deeper than the battles you win.

Key Features
Balanced fusion of grand strategy, turn-based tactics and RPG elements;
Boundless roleplaying opportunities;
Massive selection of stratagems and ways to wage war;
An intriguing, non-linear story;
An original fantasy world, living a life of its own.

Also I still find it funny people can give something a bad review on Steam when they are nearing 100 hours. Yeah it's really that terrible isn't it...

Anyway check it out on Steam and tell us if it's anygood!

Don't buy this. They are just using straight up wine, with the same issues from the winehq site....pretty awful "port"

OK, there was an update this afternoon, and the game now loads and plays with a wine wrapper. Out of curiosity, I installed EMOTBW in my wine-powered Windows Steam and tried it out. The results were identical, with some really fugly battle screen graphics, but completely playable so far, after ~45 minutes.

It isn't at all a bad game; the GameSpot reviewer gave it a 40%, owing probably to early game bugs which have been fixed, along with some free extra content. TBS gamers should check it out.

So disappointing, there are many saying the same thing on the forum and devs have yet to respond...kinda BS. They must think we are dumb

Eador : Masters of the Broken Port

They managed to do even worse than the Witcher 2...
