The Developer Of 'Pixel Piracy' Has Announced New Mystery Game

By - | Views: 5,603
Quadro Delta has put up a web page to tease their upcoming game and are promising to reveal more details as people guess the name of the upcoming game.

When the teaser page was put up it contained little more than a silhouette of the game's name and a brief description with several words blanked out. A logo has since replaced parts of the silhouette, but the name is still mostly indiscernible. That hasn't stopped users on the Steam forums for Pixel Piracy from starting to guess the name in a discussion topic related to the announcement.

One of the developers have confirmed that the new game will be available for Linux:

QuoteThe game has support for Linux and MAC because it's made in Unity :)

Fans of Pixel Piracy can rest assured that they don't plan to abandon that game, as the new game will be made by a different team, according to a post on their forums. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I have yet to try Pixel Piracy. It was on sale through GoG, but according to the user reviews, the game still has a lot of issues. I may give it a go when I get some extra cash.

Yeah, I was thinking of trying it, but the Steam reviews make it seem like it never went out of alpha, and that the creators were pretty much ditching it (read not adding substantial new features/content) for their new game.
-sigh- I dislike scumbag game dev companies and them not listening to their fans/player base. It seems like a common trend *coughHiRezwhydidyoumaimandleaveTribesAscendtorotcough*
