More information is coming out of Aspyr thanks to a reddit, and the news is all pretty good. Not only are they looking at releasing a new port soon, but they are looking to GOG too.

On talking about their new port on reddit they said this:
Aspyr_BlairI never gave a date, but only said in the new year.
We are close to the reveal, super close actually and our team is getting super jittery and excited. As promised, it will be a game that NOBODY saw coming. Over 1000 guesses across the net, and nobody has come close.
Darth is right, we did this one for love. We hope you like it, but we are cool if you dont ;)

I don't know what it is, as Aspyr have kept extremely tight lipped about this. It's quite surprising that not a single person has guessed what it is yet.

Among the many questions and comments on another reddit post, one user asked if they considered bringing their games to GOG. Aspyr replied that it's in currently in the talks with GOG:
Aspyr_BlairTo your points on GOG, I am actually in talks with them now and (if successful) it wont be long before you see Aspyr titles up there.

I know a fair few people steer clear of Steam, so if they do manage to get their games on GOG then it's win-win for all Linux gamers.

It's Grand Theft Auto 3

It's a game that already has to be on GOG. Aspyr are (sub-)contractors and have no authority to publish by themselves.

I'd say Mechcommander 2, but that's my extremely slow project. (Well it was Open sourced)

If they don't own the games, why would they negotiate anything with GOG even if games are already there? It's owners' job either way. I understood it as owners of games which they ported are planning to release them on GOG, and may be Aspyr will work on removing Steam-only stuff from them. So I see no reason why games which aren't on GOG can't appear there too.

Could be KOTOR since they just ported it to Android and they did port it to Mac but maybe not. Just my guess. Whatever it is, I'll probably try to get the money to buy it.

It would be great if they ported Dragon Age Origins!

Could it be Simcity complete edition...?? I have just received a mail from Aspyr stating that it has just arrived on the Mac Store... So it could be the same for Linux as well.
