GOG Open Up For More Indie Games

One downside of GOG is the smaller library of games, and it looks like they are trying to make it easier for indie developers to get in touch about it.

GOG have started sending out this page aimed to wooing developers to their platform, and I imagine this is to boost the amount of games they have for when GOG Galaxy launches.

One way they could win over developers is the ability to get a funding advance based on future sales, but I imagine they would need to see something pretty amazing to give it out.

From indie games I'd like to see more free ones like Maldita Castilla and Herione's Quest. But GOG for some reason aren't interested in them.

From non indie - there a are some goods ones like the upcoming Bioshock Infinite, but it's an issue of GOG convincing 4K to sell games DRM-free.

I saw that page months ago, that's not new.
BTW, no one is talking about how they ask about the platform: Windows, Mac, other. That's not cool, but I guess they don't want to write "ubuntu/linux mint" there.

Indies:

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
Transistor
Ziggurat

Non Indies:

Civilization 5
Civilization: Beyond Earth

The list goes on. I mainly named the 2 Civ games because I like turn based games but there aren't many on GOG with a native Linux build.

954 DRM free games is says in GoG's page of which there are 200 Linux (of you set the filter you get 4 pages of 50 games), it 1/5th of your games linux compatible its pretty good for a company that did not join till late last year.
