It's not often that I see a game trailer and it instantly has my attention, but MegaSphere has managed to do this.

Now, tell me you're not excited after watching that?

It has already been greenlit by Valve to be sold on Steam, and an Alpha version looks to be coming soon.

I've reached out to the developer, and we hope to grab a build to test out and write up when it becomes available. I'm not usually a fan of platformers, but the style and action in this has me giddy.

About the game (Official)
MegaSphere is a sci-fi themed action platformer with a big shiny gun, mad battle robots and an unpredictable world that is different each time you play. Fight enemies, search for loot, hack AI's, upgrade weapons and your suit. No hand holding, no tutorials — play like a grown-up!

The game is out in Steam as Early Access. Things look a little buggy right now. Bad performance in a A8 apu (Unity, argh...), joypad not properly configured, got stuck in the first stage. But I got to play a later one.

There is a Linux demo, you can test it right now.
