Polychromatic is probably one of my favourite new releases recently, it's so simple, but it's highly addictive.

Myself and Samsai have had access for quite a while (thanks developer!), and we have been battling it out intensely on the high score table. It feels very much like a simple version of Geometry Wars, but I'm actually finding it more fun.

I have to bow down to Samsai right now, as much as I hate it, he's just constantly beating my scores.

It works perfectly, and I've not seen in issue in the few hours I've pumped into this simple game. I like it so much it's now sat proudly in our Steam Curator page.

About the game (Official)
Polychromatic is a physics-based arcade shooter with a pop of color. Take on waves of enemies in multiple game modes while competing for a top spot in the leaderboards against your friends or the entire Steam community. With dynamic gameplay, a unique flat geometric art style, and exhilarating soundtrack, Polychromatic is the arcade shooter experience players have been waiting for.

For the best experience, a gamepad is recommended.

Find Polychromatic on Steam.

Samsai will be covering it in more detail soon in his next GOL Cast, so lookout for that! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
