The last livestream we did was easily one of the most hilarious times I've had gaming on Linux, thanks in part to Feral Interactive for porting GRID Autosport, and also because we played with viewers who drive dirty.

How have you been finding GRID? I love it. If you haven't already, check out my port report on it, and Samsai's report on AMD.

If you have some funny moments, do share them in the comments I would love to see them.

Damn! I might have to get this now... looks superb. It reminds me of Gran Turismo 2 - long tracks, great variety of cars. Presumably it does the whole "career progression" thing too. Argh! It's Christmas - money is stupidly tight.

I couldn' wait. Bought it and with my 10 years old logitech momo racing gave very very fun. I don'tunderstand why, in big picture mode my wheel moves selection down so that I can't use it and in game it works awesome..

I'm waiting for a sale too. I do want to pick this game up, but racing games are far from my favourite and just something I want to spend 20 minutes with once in a while. Hence the full price is too much for me, but if I can pick it up at -75% some day I definitely will.

Oh, one question: does anyone know if you can play split-screen mutliplayer? It would be a fun game to play locally with some friends.

Do you guys play with a controller,keyboard or a wheel ? :P

I have tried to play a bit today and I have realized that I am a horrible driver :O
(I guarantee that this is not happening in real life! :D )

GOL Live streaming is amazing and more fun when I watch you play coop I have really enjoyed it.
Even though I wanted to join some sessions I couldnt cause I am not a steam friend with GOL :(

I understand that there are a lot of people who may want to join a livestream session but since we are not that many atm on live stream we should become steam friends on next live stream session.... ;)

Driving with a keyboard is a horrible idea. At least enable all the available assists if you do. Anything analog should do the job, although driving with a joypad might take a bit of getting used to if you're new to these semi-realistic driving games. A wheel is really nice (wish I had one), but not necessary.

Yes, you can.

Although it is not a casual game, so unless your friends are already good at racing games, they may have a hard time. I prefer DiRT Showdown for playing with my friends, because it is much more arcade and easier to get hang of, even though I think Grid Autosport is much better when playing by yourself.
