Project Zomboid is one of my favourite indie games, while I haven't set aside a lot of time for it, it has a place at the top of my heart.

This new update is a big one!

- New sound engine with 3D sound
- Lots of new environment sounds
- New randomized buildings (like burnt out buildings)
- A better main menu with more game options
And lots more.

Myself and Samsai had a real blast on this months ago when we tried it online together (it has singleplayer too!). I plan to dive back into it soon, maybe we will livestream our survival!

Read their changelog post here.

While it doesn't have a Linux icon, I assure you it's on Linux. It had the icon removed along with a bunch of other games a while ago due to not 100% working on SteamOS, but they are taking steps to fix it. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

It's written in Java, so obviously it works on Linux :þ
They did fix some lingering issues that did indeed make it unplayable...Now I can kick back and relax playing the game with the Steam Controller! I have to get reacquainted with Project Zomboid again, as it has added a number of features which I wanted to play with.
