GOG would be a pretty awesome company to work for wouldn't it? They are currently hiring for plenty of positions, so get in while you can.

The jobs are a mix of all sorts like web programmers, people to work on their Galaxy client and more.

Head over to this page to find out more.

If you're going to apply (or have already!), let us know! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'd love to apply, but I'm not interested in moving to Poland.

Yeah, they need to improve their remote work options. So far being in their Warsaw office is a requirement for most of their positions.

Also, their CD Projekt RED positions notably are missing anything related to Linux and OpenGL / Vulkan:

Which is not a very promising thing, unless they are already fully staffed with in-house Linux gaming developers.

Hi,

I'm here just to report my experience.

Three years ago I sent GOG my CV/resumee for a generic IT Specialist: they honestly answered me currently (at time) open positions are only for Poland guys (I'm italian). Too bad but it could happens.

On the 2014 there was a Linux Tech open position: I applied myself again with a proper cover letter and they answered me that I was too much experienced and qualified for the position they are offering.

So I do not know if they'll continue in supporting Linux but for sure I totally disagree with their hiring policy: if in the future they'll stop supporting Linux for me it'll be just another step in the wrong direction :)
