Company of Heroes 2 has received a patch today, it should fix the issue with it looking like you gain no experience points during matches.

Changelog
- Fixes issues with the in game store
- Fixed issues caused by certain mods
- Merged Balance & other fixes from Windows version
- Adds support for War Spoils
- Various minor improvements & fixes

Easily one of my favourite games on Linux. I do hope one day we get a performance patch though, fire and smoke especially seem to kill the performance and I struggle to keep up because of it in some games.

It's on sale right now, why not pick up a copy and play with us tomorrow? I will be livestreaming it at 10AM UTC tomorrow!

Quoting: omer666I still get the "Can't connect to Relic servers" error. I've been reporting this bug for two versions now and we can't find a solution. The bug seems to exist on Windows too.
Behind a VPN by any chance?

Absolutely not. We even tried connecting through my mobile connection, to no avail. Me and the devs just don't know where it comes from. Even disabling all firewalls and SELinux won't change a thing. I'm more and more thinking it's Relic's servers' fault.

Quoting: TheRiddickIt is odd how this game has such large performance issues, considering your looking at the ground most the time.

Quoting: babaiFrom the benchmarks I see that Feral have fixed much of the performance issues in SOM. If they would fix the same for COH2, I'll probably buy it.
Feral take note, people like me who have mid/low end graphics cards are missing out the fun because of some of your under-performing ports. A bit of optimization and we'll be on board.

I'd contact support if you have issues, CoH2 performance was improved via a number of patches since release. This was due to a lot of post release performance work combined with newer drivers allowing more cutting edge features to be used. Although the game is not officially supported on AMD, we have been working towards Mesa support and the game should now run without any issues using Mesa 11.2 or newer. We hope to announce official AMD support in the future.

If you have an issue then please do contact us and we can investigate, if people don't contact us then we can't help as easily.

[Edit] Fixed a few typos & provided info about contacting support.
