Another day another big sale, I love the summer. This time it's Humble Store doing their DRM-Freedom sale and I've picked a few for you.
Choice picks
Prison Architect - 75% off
Outlast - 75% off
Democracy 3 (see if you can run the UK better than my government can) - 68% off
Big Pharma - 55% off
If you pick something up, let us know what and what you think about it in the comments!

Quoting: liamdaweAnother day another big sale, I love the summer.Summer is nice, but way too short. What's wrong with spring and autumn? I'd rather sit inside playing games when it's not sunny and warm outside. Also the GOG and Steam sales drained my gaming budget for months... :/

Hmm, maybe I should have a look. Lately, Humble has been a quite bad address for DRM-free-Linux lovers - too much win-only and steam-only stuff in anything other than the HIBs....
Now if only their pages would work in my browser. First only my library page, then also the main store page, and just now I realize even the single game pages do not display at all anymore. Guess I'll stay with GOG then.
(Yes, I reported the issue long time ago already. They don't care.)

Are you sure it's the browser and not a script blocker add-on of some sort? I just tried three popular browsers (all with an advert blocker of some sort) and everything works fine.

No 'obstacles' on my side - just their internal scripts deliver an error, and all I see is the 'page loading' animation image....
To get somewhat on-topic - just checked the sales page using firefox, but did not find anything for me - either not my type of game, or I already own it... :P

I wonder if there's something akin to Brexit in Democracy 3.

Ah I take it the last post answers my question as to whether the drm free version of the metro games is available for linux?
(oh yes, now I see the information hidden behind a mouseover, only the windows version is drm free).

This is so very annoying to me as well. I would love an explanation although I doubt we'll ever get one.

:(
And what is - in this context - just as annoying is that if you search for DRM-free Linux Games you will still get those ones as a result - their filter system is not the very smartest :o
