Update: It's nothing Linux related see here.

Hopefully we will see something from Aspyr again someday.

Original article below

This may be Linux related: Aspyr Media the porting team behind Linux titles like Borderlands 2 are teasing something new to come.

In 3 days, our next major project will be revealed... pic.twitter.com/xKZcfEfOM7

What do you think it could be?

I haven't heard a word from them, so hopefully it's something that will come to Linux. It would be fantastic to see more titles come from them.

GTA1 through to GTA V collection?

I agree with others who have stated that it will be Civ6 or The Witcher 3 but I am going with Civ6.

I would love it to be Doom or GTA5 but I can only dream.

Maybe No Man's Sky? Fortunately it works flawlessly on wine, but native would be better

Quoting: GuestIf they want you to guess they could at least give some sort of clue.

To be fair, there could be a lot of assumptions derived from the font, font color, background color, background textures, size of the font, and even the ellipsis.

Or even the text "3 days..." itself ;p

I really hope it's BioShock: The Collection. I'd love to see the first two parts on Linux as they both belong to the greatest games I've ever played!

May be an OSX title only. They didn't specifically say it's GNU/Linux related.

San Andreas would be ideal since it is older now and relatively small (as software) compared to newer GTAs. Other franchises have tested the Linux waters by first porting older or smaller titles. Doubtful that Rockstar would do so, but again, one can only dream.

Problem is, GTA SA had half of its music ripped out due to Rockstar not renewing music license fees for their old games :-(

If it ever comes to Linux, I hope we are able to find a way to restore the original sound track. Advise on Steam for Windows users is to revert to v1.0 of the game.

In the Twitter post just before this one a person asked...
GTuxTV: @AspyrMedia a new game? for #linux?

And they responded...
Aspyr Media: @gtuxtv Yep, a new game! Platform details will be unveiled between now and Thursday. :)

I know I'm reading into it quite a bit, but the attitude of the response seams promising :)
