GOG recently added another DRM free Linux title to their digital shelves, this time it's Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes a good looking point & click adventure.

Note: It's 64bit only.

GOG sent in a copy for me to test out, so test away I did.

First thing, if you're using more than one monitor it will likely launch on the wrong one. Luckily, you can ALT+Enter to go into windowed mode, drag it to the correct one and then ALT+Enter again and it will now be fullscreen on the correct screen for you!

Doing ALT+Tab with more than one screen will cut half the game off when you go back to it, but you can do the above trick again to sort it out.

Apart from that, the game seems to work perfectly as I would hope. It's actually quite an amusing game and worth checking out if you're a point & click fan. I'm not usually a fan, but it was amusing enough to hold my interest for quite a while!

About the game
Lilli is the best-behaved little girl in the world. She executes all her chores in a diligent manner, no matter how unfair they may be. Her innocent, imperturbable way of carrying out the orders of others has something both tragic and eerie about it. Any angry thoughts, any childlike disobedience is buried deep beneath a seemingly impenetrable surface of sweetness. But how long will these feelings stay hidden? And where do the friendly little gnomes come from that paint over everything unpleasant in Lilli’s vicinity with a pleasant pink color? Are they real or just a product of her subconscious? Find out in Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Harvet will be thrilled you chose his eyes over those of Harvey, which are the ones everyone seems to be buying these days.
