Prison Architect [GOG, Steam], the prison building and management sim was updated towards the end of last month to bring in more needs for your staff and more.

They did their usual update video too:

Your staff now need to take a break and they have a Morale system which can be reduced by an injury, low salary and more. Along with that, they also go on strike if they're really unhappy. Be sure to have a decent staff room, you're going to need it.

You can now use Steam Cloud Saves, so you can use the same save across whatever system you're on. I'm really glad they added this, I wished every game had it.

You can see all that changed in this announcement. You don't need to opt into the Beta now, as a few days ago it was updated into the main game.

I think it's really great that they continue to update it and polish it after release, it's a great game. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'm a bit confused now. Wasn't there always the need to have a staff room?
It's been some while since I last played, but I remember having a staff room...

Has somebody tested if it is working cross platform (not necessarily given)?

In the past, you would just need to put a couch and a drink machine in a staff room and everything worked. With the new changes to staff needs, the staff room actually gives the staff needed breaks and fulfills the new needs. You also need serving tables and bathrooms now in order to take care of the staff needs of inputting and outputting food.

In short, staff rooms have changed a lot... (from the 1.0 release even...)
