Another teaser video for a new unit coming to the huge XCOM 2: War of the Chosen expansion, this time we take a look at The Hunter.

The Youtube comments certainly made me chuckle, with comments like this:
QuoteShoots through two buildings to crit someone out of high cover? Ok, but what are his special abilities? That's just normal Xcom.

The Hunter could possibly be one of the most troubling new units for us to face yet, with an ability to come back after being killed. It's not clear how many times they will be able to do it, but even so that's going to be a nuisance.

The main problem with these new powerful foes is that they will knock out and capture your soldiers. They will then be interrogated and they could find the Avenger's location. That's one thing I wished XCOM 2 had more of, having battles take place right next to/inside the Avenger itself, so hopefully XCOM 2 will have a bit of this with the expansion. I mean, why else would they want to find the location if not to infiltrate it or begin a siege?

No word on when War of the Chosen will get Linux support, only "shortly" after the Windows release, according to Feral Interactive.

That's it for now, Commander. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

A new base defense mission, especially one actually taking place in the Avenger, could be pretty cool.
