The folks behind Destination Linux invited me to join their show for an episode and it was a blast, take look.

I would like to thank the guys for inviting me, it was really fun having a chat and I do suggest checking them out. Their interviews and other videos are really well put together.

Truthfully, I only discovered their videos myself recently and became a fan rather quickly. The chemistry between the Rocco and Ryan is really sweet and I've been enjoying listening to them. It's easy watching, with fun information that makes them a worthy choice if you're looking for a new Linux show to watch.

Had one of those radio moments where you imagine a face to go with the voice and then years later you see the presenter and the face doesn't match the voice

I was imagining someone much older with a beard. Looking like those tired old nerds telling you how they built their own computer back in the days and just keeps it going just for fun.
Instead I get a nerd that looks like a normal nerd.

Might have to take a look at the other stuff those DL guys have cause it was actually enjoyable and spot on. I don't have a lot of "free" time so I don't like wasting my time listening to the "eeeeehhhhh.... yeah.... hahaha.... eeeeehhhhh..." crap so many others do. There's also the "Best Linux Games" with pauses and "rants" like a 12 year old. We don't need those imo. We need ppl like DL, presentable and down to earth.

yeah!! those dammed windows update, I do the same, I have windows dual boot just in case last game I played was arkham knight. That moment when you boot and just keep updating and updating, meeh ... then you think I'm just going to shut it off so it stops and it won't let you (please don't turn off your computer). So annoying just makes me think more and more of wiping windows all the way, it's just using hard disk space and it's useless.
In fact someone gifted me Sherlock Holmes last game, and I'm not going to play it, I think I´ll just wait till they remove Denuvo, because that's what's holding off from running on wine it's just Denuvo.
I think at one point maybe in one year or two, the only games that won't run on Wine will be the ones that have Denuvo or similar DRM.

When Windows, I think it was Windows 98, started to tell "You can shutdown your Computer now", I was joking one day the computers would tell us we must not shutdown them. Well, here we are... ;-)

My machine at work had just recently an empty bios battery and refused to turn off. Every time I initated a shutdown it just rebooted, even after a hard power off, only pulling the plug helped. Thought I had lost all senses, how difficult can it be to turn a computer off ;)
