Don't Starve: Hamlet DLC delayed until December

By - | Views: 5,302

Klei have announced that the Don't Starve: Hamlet expansion that was announced in September last year, has moved to a December release.

Originally, they were planning a Q1/Q2 release. Here's what they said about the delay:

Hey everybody.

We're not quite where we want Hamlet to be yet so we're moving out the date to December 2018. We're sorry for the delay, it's just taking us a bit longer than we anticipated to fill out as much content as we are aiming for. We know people have been patiently waiting for more news; so for now, enjoy a fun gameplay trailer we made to give you a taste of what we've got in store for you in Don't Starve: Hamlet.

Honestly, this kind of delay is okay. Klei have exceptional quality in their games, so I know when they delay something it's one of the few times I'm truly not worried.

They also put up a new trailer:

As a big fan of Don't Starve, I'm quite excited to give it a go. As usual, the style Klei have here is simply amazing, like those incredibly cute little ladybird-type bugs you see that suddenly have a ginormous mouth that opens to gnaw at you when they get close.
