This isn't the kind of moto trials game you would expect, Psebay has gone for a rather different and atmospheric look.

After a tip from NuSuey of TuxDB, I reached out to the developer to clarify if it was coming to Linux. They replied, to note that they're working on it with no exact date planned but they hope it will be before the end of the month.

I think it looks pretty sweet, take a look:

Rather than focusing on lots of special tricks, they've gone for an approach that plays more like a platform adventure game. With simple controls it should be easy to get into but one false move and it could all be over.

The developer, Eugeny Butakov, said it's an adventure that they hope will "OVERTURN your perception of the genre".

You can follow it and wishlist it on Steam.

Looks very similar to X-Moto. I remember playing that game on Linux about ten years ago... for ubuntu/debian: sudo apt install xmoto

This appears to have more 'realistic' physics than xmoto, though. I remember the bike in the latter to be a bit too floaty.

I've really liked this type of game since Motocross Maniacs on the Game Boy; so this looks very interesting. (... and I also wish Trials Fusion worked on proton.)

Having played lots of XMoto, this is *exactly* the kind of moto trials game I would expect. ;-)

This brings back memories of Elasto Mania. I don't think I would have the patience for this anymore :)

Bout time. TrialsHD was great, but with each game, elements of it get better, but the heart isn't 100% there. Just picked this up!

Limbo on wheels :)

Came here to say "Limbo on a bike!", and you beat me to it! Reminds me of the very original Trials game. I think I still have a trials.jar kicking around for that. No idea if it'll still run though.

I'll be picking this up on launch - looks great.
