By - | Views: 10,839

For those who prefer to buy their games from GOG for that DRM-free goodness, they have a Midweek Sale on with some good Linux games in it.

Protect your precious funds with some of these highlights:

  • Wrap up warm and search for the source of an eternal blizzard as the Never Alone Arctic Collection is 80% off
  • Broforce which remains as my all-time favourite action-platformer (seriously) is 75% off
  • War for the Overworld has a few different editions, the Ultimate Edition is 65% off and the Underlord Edition is 75% off
  • Enjoy strategy games with a little comedy sprinkled over the top? Dungeons 3 has 70% off
  • The clever and rather stylish stealth game Aragami can be had for 69% off
  • The beautiful action-adventure RPG Hyper Light Drifter has a cool 60% off
  • Relax with a bit of farming with friends in Stardew Valley with 25% off

Pretty good selection for Linux, hopefully something for everyone. There's more than just what I've listed above, those are just a few choice picks to get you going.

See all in the GOG Midweek Sale here.

Ps. For those who use Wine, GOG have signed up Blizzard with a release of the original Diablo. It has two versions, the original and one that's been slightly updated.

Yes, I immediately grabbed Aragami yesterday.
Also on sale is Overload, though only at -25%. Still undecided if I should wait for a better chance. I probably will, as I won't have much time to play in the coming month or two....
(That I buy it is not in question :D)

I had been so completely addicted that I even started dreaming of hopping around platforms.... that was back in the days of my Atari800. I still play it in the emulator now and then (that's where I have the avatar from...)

That is very .... odd.
Blizzard has been making some very anti consumer moves lately.
Curios what they would release DRM free on GOG , considering lots of their stuff is dependent on the Battle.net launcher.

I suppose games that GOG re-enabled for modern Windows. Diablo is the first and only release so far.

I have it as a rom image on my Atari Max cartridge for my 5200. Apparently it is THE rarest game on that platform, but man is it hard. I don't think I ever played it on the Atari 8bit, but did play a lot of Miner 2049er! And clearly lots of Bruce Lee.
