Absolutely any excuse for a sale and since the Summer holidays are coming to a close, GOG have decided to do a back to school sale. Yes, nothing says school like buying more games.

I'm not complaining of course, sales are good for our wallets. At least this time around, what GOG have discounted does include some good Linux games!

Some picks for you of good games with a nice discount:

Plenty more of course, just random picks above of stuff I personally like. Lots of different genres and DLC going cheap. See the full list of Linux games currently on sale on GOG here.

GOG's sale runs until September 6th, 1PM UTC.

If you missed it, Humble Store also has DiRT Rally going free with their big sale and Two Point Hospital is free to try on Steam for a few days. All that and more in the previous article.

Oh no! I have already purchased almost all of this from the list ... but maybe I will find something interesting.

LOL, nice Joke :D

Sales have never been good for my wallet. Because of sales (and my unrestrainedness) I buy more games than I have time to play.

Galaxy have macOs support and yet there are still missing macOS releases for certain games.
What do you think mac users are saying?
Like I already said, Galaxy it's not the holy grail. I seriously think even with Galaxy on Linux, we would still have missing Linux releases.

In the era of Epic Store, which doesn't support Linux, I must admit I am still somewhat surprised people actually *want* another client. At least for GOG, you can download direct from the site or use Lutris or a number of other open source download/update tools for it.

And I have to admit, even if it seems I "hate" clients, I like the itch.io client and use it more than I would have think.

Here I am trying to save money and an awesome discount appears. To make matters worse, some of those games run perfectly with DXVK (looking at you Divinity OS 2).

This permanent childish whining is really disgusting. Then just shut up and stay with Steam if you don't care about freedom.
We really need a dislike button....

We already have /r/linux_gaming for that. Here we use our words.

(Thanks for keeping things positive, Liam)

I'm going to moan as well (sorry):
At the moment I'm really annoyed about the missing Linux versions on GOG, especially Overcooked 2, Megaquarium, Turok 2 and Dead in Vinland. The thing that bothering me the most is the complete radio silence on that subject. I think that I would have an easier time accepting the unfortunate situation if I knew the reason(s). It's so frustrating.

And on a different front: The long delay of the “Into the Breach” Linux version is getting to me as well. Every time I see the game on sale it's getting worse.
