Absolutely any excuse for a sale and since the Summer holidays are coming to a close, GOG have decided to do a back to school sale. Yes, nothing says school like buying more games.
I'm not complaining of course, sales are good for our wallets. At least this time around, what GOG have discounted does include some good Linux games!

I wonder what they'll say if/when galaxy is available and that linux versions will still be missing.

Galaxy have macOs support and yet there are still missing macOS releases for certain games.
What do you think mac users are saying?
Like I already said, Galaxy it's not the holy grail. I seriously think even with Galaxy on Linux, we would still have missing Linux releases.
I'm perplexed by this as well, and have stated so many times. The longer GOG remains Galaxy-FREE for Linux, the better. I know Steam is pushed pretty hard around these parts, but I never want to use a client, which is the main reason I still buy from GOG (despite their many flaws). Plus games being DRM-FREE of course, another great boon for them.
Picked up 2 games - one for me and another for my wife. May GOG stay strong forever.

Try out GameHub. Merges GOG and Steam libraries and if you are using a Windows game in Linux, can leverage Proton, DOSBox, and ScummVM for non native games.
