The Humble Better Futures Bundle is up for more budget gaming

By - | Views: 11,998

Gaming on a budget? Humble Bundles are a good way to fill your library and there's a new one up with the just launched Humble Better Futures Bundle.

As usual, Linux supported / Linux builds will be highlighted.

Included in the initial $1 tier is:

  • Torchlight
  • Throne of Lies
  • Agent A: A puzzle in disguise

None of those offer official Linux support. Note - Humble is currently listing Throne of Lies incorrectly, as it doesn't support Linux (the developer removed it). Torchlight did originally had a DRM-free download for Linux, which Humble had ported for one of their original indie bundles years ago but Runic Games never seemed to push it anywhere else.

More interesting is the next tier, which gives you these if you pay more than the average:

  • Road Redemption
  • Torchlight II
  • This War of Mine

All of which offer Linux builds.

If you pay for the full access to get the final tier you also get:

  • Knights of Pen and Paper 1 + 2 Collection
  • Mythic Ocean

You can find the bundle here if any of that interests you.

I have two torchcligihts (one on gog, second on epic), road redemption on Steam...
What to do with games I have in my library? Can I sell it to anybody or gave it away? I don't need them, but maybe somebody who wants to buy them will be happy to have that in their library...

"+ more to come in 6 days"
Where is this information? On the humble bundle webiste there is no info.

Looks like that was removed, so not sure what's going on there.

Already own all the Linux titles in this bundle (and half the Windows ones). As such I think I'll miss this one =P

You can give them away on the forums here (it's been done by others), but don't just dump the keys as bots will probably get them.
You can give them away at SteamGifts.com
You can sell them in the GroupBuys Steam group.

Bear in mind, Humble has been clamping down on this behaviour (but mostly serial traders), so safest to give keys (non-traceable) rather than Humble giftlinks.

Besides the other options mentioned, barter.vg is nice for trading with other users.

Someone pointed out some discussion threads on this to me recently, but it sounds like (I hope!) that it's people who do tons of key swapping and/or resell them to shady key sellers.

Regarding this specific bundle - as others have mentioned, it's games that many of us already have. But if anyone has an extra key for "Agent A" they don't want, I'll take it off your hands!

@marcin1509 I also already have most of the games in that bundle, except Road Redemption.
If you're willing to trade for unused keys, PM me ;)
