Point and click adventure Pants Quest gets a Linux release

By - | Views: 15,559

A point and click adventure game all about finding missing clothing? Well, there's been weirder things. Pants Quest gets a native Linux release.

"A classic style adventure game about life and finding your pants. The more our hero tries to find them, the more things seem to spin out of control. The tone is funny but also kind of introspective, following the kind of crappy morning that makes you rethink every decision you’ve ever made while wandering around in your underwear."

Quite a short game this one at about 2 hours but seems like a good bit of comedy. A completely silly concept but if you love your classic adventures maybe one to run through with a coffee.

Available to buy on Steam.

Happy you saw this one! I asked for the port and tested it - works flawlessly.

You need to have your expectations set properly for the game: You're not going to save the world. No dragons, no princesses. You just need to grab your pants and get off to work. Cause... what could possibly go wrong?!? ;)

It's a nice little one.

This type of cooperation and work to get a Linux port is a way to go. Thank you very much then!

Inspired by the TV show in the LEGO Movie, "Where are my pants?". I wonder.

Citing the developer:
Modern game engines are pretty amazing. I don’t know why more people don’t make Linux versions.

So I'm looking for my pants... in other words I'm running around in my undies all day long? This does sound like a game for me!

Well, maybe not literally without pants, but on a broader level I've had days like that.
I like the trailer music.

Looks quite amusing, akin to some of the early 90s Sierra adventures. I might pick it up when I'm allowed some pocket money.

Now I'm waiting for the obligatory "I'll only buy it on GOG" comments... ;-)

truly a work-from-home-era game premise

But why would you wear your pants in home office?!? :D
(We don't do video calls, just audio, so... well, it happens.)
