Was thinking this would be good for a backup server as it has a 2.5" sata bay, and have plenty of processing power left for a home-assistant server (and/or software router).

Quoting: grigiWas thinking this would be good for a backup server as it has a 2.5" sata bay, and have plenty of processing power left for a home-assistant server (and/or software router).

Correction, turns out the 2.5" SATA drive is mounted on-top of the device, which is fine as it still uses an internal connector.
This is fine for what I intend to use it as, so I'm fine with it.

Always good to support the small-time suppliers when you can
