While it's a bit like throwing some coins into a well and making a wish, I'm not going to stop you if you want to give it a shot to win a Steam Deck, or a big bundle of games if you manage to find a golden egg in the Fanatical Mystery Egg Bundle.

So what's the deal? You can pay between £1 for one mystery game egg, or £13.99 for 20. Each egg is a random game that Fanatical say range from "highly acclaimed AAA games to captivating hidden indie gems".

The juicy bit though is that you might find you get a special golden egg, which will give you "an exclusive assortment of games valued at a staggering $1,000" with titles including Last Epoch, Persona 3 Reload, Lies of P, Starfield, Hi-Fi RUSH, and many more.

Buying the bundle also enters you in for a chance to win a 512GB Steam Deck OLED, which will be chosen at random during the week starting May 6th.

You've got just over 13 days left on this bundle.

If you do fancy your chances go take a look on Fanatical.

Don't want to take any risk there? Well Fanatical have various other good full bundles going too that are worth a look like the Play on the Go Bundle Spring Edition Bundle.

I have picky and idiosyncratic taste in games, so this sort of thing isn't really for me--hardly any of a random bag would be something I was interested in. But if my taste was less narrow, I could see the appeal.
