Brickadia has been an interesting project to follow, that combines some elements of Roblox with powerful creation systems along with an LEGO styled building system to create all sorts of things. They just announced that it's going to enter Early Access on July 11th.
More about: "Brickadia is a next-generation sandbox game with immense flexibility. Every creative tool - building, scripting, and more - is used right in the game, in real-time multiplayer. Build massive worlds, intricate physics contraptions, and entirely new game modes together with your friends without ever leaving the action."

In regards to Linux support, they decided to drop the Native Linux version and instead rely on Valve's Proton compatibility layer. I spoke with their team over email who mentioned to me they removed the Linux version "not because we don’t want to support Linux, but because running the Windows version through Proton performs vastly better". They continued "We didn’t want people to use the native version, expecting it to be better, only to get a much worse experience just because Epic hasn’t bothered to optimize their Vulkan renderer". So it's again a problem of the game engine, Unreal Engine, just not having great Linux support.
As for any anti-cheat annoyances, they told me "The game runs great on a Steam Deck and we’re planning to support it on Early Access launch. There won’t be anti-cheat, it’s not a competitive game" and that they're not going to do anything to break Proton support intentionally.
I wonder what the terms on user creations are? Especially when compared to some other games turned (or attempted to be turned) into game platforms like Warcraft 3, DoTa2, Roblox, Minecraft.

Took a peek at the 3rd party eula on their steam page to find out. Nothing there yet (not even a eula), but the mere fact that there is going to be one puts a dampener on my interest.
