Valve continue rolling out changes to SteamOS Preview readying it for the eventual public SteamOS 3 for more handheld devices beyond the Steam Deck, with SteamOS 3.7.5 Preview now available.

SteamOS 3.7.5 Preview "Seamless" includes these changes:

General

  • Added trackpad support for the Legion Go S.
  • Fixed connecting DualShock 3 controllers over bluetooth once initially paired via USB.
  • Fixed a regression from earlier 3.7 releases causing several black frames between the boot logo and boot animation.
  • Fixed a regression from earlier 3.7 releases breaking the CPU power display in the performance overlay.

In case you missed it, the Legion Go S recently got quite a bit more expensive and it's due to get a SteamOS launch quite soon, so Valve are really burning the midnight oil to get SteamOS into shape for the Legion Go S SteamOS version launch.

Valve have done a few other SteamOS changes recently for other devices like SteamOS 3.7.4 Preview fixing a bootloader crash and SteamOS 3.7.3 Preview improving support for Asus and Lenovo handhelds.
