Extreme sports game Descenders Next is Steam Deck Verified ahead of release

Extreme sports game Descenders Next is set to arrive sometime soon, and they've ensured it works well on Steam Deck as it's Verified ahead of release. They're not giving the release date out for Early Access yet, but the publisher has already sent a key for GamingOnLinux testing.

More about it: "It's time to conquer the world of extreme sports. This is Descenders Next. Grab your snowboard and tackle the steep, snowy slopes, or tear up the harsh, lush terrain with your mountainboard! Feel like taking on the challenge with a squad? Match up with your friends and Descenders players all around the world, and take on the tracks together! The mountain is calling - will you master it?"

Sharing the Steam Deck news in an announcement they said "One of the main things we wanted to make sure is that Descenders Next runs great on Steam Deck, so we're super glad we can give you the ultimate experience!". The status isn't live yet, but developers do get notified before the Steam Deck notice goes live.

It was originally due to launch April 9th, but it was delayed in March to give it a little more time to cook. During Early Access they plan to add in more sports, more game modes - more everything.
