GOG have announced that Limbo and Inside from studio Playdead are being delisted, so you might want to grab them while you can.
The announced GOG made didn't go into details and just said:
Hi everyone,
I'm sorry to inform you that Limbo and Inside will be removed from our store on July 17th, 2025, 3 PM CEST.
We don't have any information on discounts yet.
Wish I could have better news for you, but grab it while it's still here!
Why? We can only speculate at this point but it's likely related to the ongoing legal spat between Playdead and co-founder Dino Patti.
Pictured - Inside from Playdead
Back in March, Patti posted on LinkedIn to note "My old partner has threatened me with an IP lawsuit because I used a publicly available picture, in a linkedin post 3 months ago, of the game LIMBO that we created at Playdead together" and that Patti would make it public if it continued (which it obviously did). The post showed the latest legal threat letter that Patti had received.
According to an article from 80.lv, Playdead followed up with an actual lawsuit against Patti in June.
No word if the games will be removed from other stores but it's entirely possible.
Programmers on the other hand, insert "I stole your code" "It's not my code" meme.

No other artist will angry at their game screenshot being shared by fellow creator of the same project.
There might be some unknown problem that we don't know.
Limbo has an unadvertised native Linux version on Steam as default, I suggest getting it.Huh, looks like they stopped advertising the Linux version just last month...why? That's a bad sign.

Not a clue, as I have just tried with Ubuntu Mate 24.04, the native Linux version works perfectly.
Edit: The game is verified with native Linux version for Steam Deck.

Some game developers and artists in general are absolutely paranoid delusional about their creations. It's like taking a screenshot will take their soul.
That's true, but in this case in particular Playdead has been struggling to ensure that his artistic vision for video games prevails over the more purely economic vision of his former co-founder (the media was always told that it was a matter of the two not reaching an agreement, but it was always a matter of Playdead not being intimidated by pressure from the producers). I know this because I was doing some research on it a few years ago.
It's sad to see it disappear (at least in the legal realm).
I consider Limbo one of the major games during the fairly early indie game times. One of the games that really showcased that we don't need to rely on massive companies to create iconic and memorable videogames.

This. Limbo has got a little place in many hearts. 💔
