Lost Ark is a free to play MMO from Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games that was previously blocked on Linux platforms like SteamOS / Steam Deck but now works.

Originally launched February 2022, there's been one or two times in the past where the anti-cheat very briefly let people in and then continued blocking shortly after. But not it appears it might actually be here to stay. The developer did not make any announcement on this I can find anywhere, but their Easy Anti-Cheat system appears to have been enabled for at least a full two weeks now.

Using the current main stable Proton 9.0-4, the game was completely click and play for me. Nothing special needed, no launch options — it just worked. Nice to see another online game working on Linux platforms! Shame it took so long on this one.

Our dedicated Linux anti-cheat compatibility page has been updated.

I get the impression that once their numbers drop, they open up to Linux. Just a feeling, though. Can't explain otherwise why they didn't enable it earlier. They did the same with New World. Not that I'm still interested after all this time, but: yay! *shrugs*
